At Pace Harmon, Andrew has supported sourcing engagements for companies in the professional services, utilities, and international NGO sectors. Andrew usually spends his free time outside – playing tennis, hiking, and walking – or listening to a variety of podcasts.
Why I Joined Pace Harmon
"I joined Pace Harmon because of the opportunity to grow and develop as a consultant. Pace Harmon has provided me the opportunities to gain responsibility and make a significant impact on the clients we serve. Pace Harmon provides a unique combination of independence, trust, and collaboration across a flat organization. The resulting environment eases the learning curve and quickly develops an analyst’s consulting toolkit.”
What I Like About Pace Harmon
“I like the mentorship provided by more senior practitioners. Practitioners take an active interest in developing analysts’ soft and hard skills. The team is willing to spend the time to answer questions, and more importantly, provide analysts with the tools necessary to be successful. I appreciate the organized firm-wide events that provide a great opportunity to maintain connections with colleagues throughout the firm’s offices."
The Kind of Work I Do
"On strategic sourcing projects, I perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to form recommendations. I then work with my project team to develop the supporting deliverables and present to key client stakeholders. During my most recent engagement, I performed financial analysis to develop a business case for enterprise software and assisted in ultimately sourcing the selected software and related professional services. Internally, I have been involved in developing benchmark databases and recruiting. On both client and internal efforts, I enjoy directly contributing to the firm and developing myself as a consultant."
