We are looking for passionate, energetic, high performing individuals who want to solve challenging problems and produce concrete results. We are searching for experienced practitioners with a background in outsourcing advisory services, telecommunications strategy and sourcing, supply chain optimization, IT strategy development and implementation, IT application/architecture sourcing and implementation, and general sourcing.
Associates joining Pace Harmon typically have at least 4-7 years of consulting or highly relevant experience, or enter after completing an MBA.
Associate job responsibilities include the following:
- Manage projects and interface with clients day-to-day
- Manage technical/functional content, budgets and staff resources
- Perform detailed data and business process analysis
- Prepare and deliver presentations to client senior management
- Research, conduct creative analysis, synthesize, and report on business issues
- Facilitate and/or participate in client meetings and working sessions
- Support clients in all aspects of their key business transactions
- Assess vendor fragmentation across clients' enterprises within specific functional areas
- Generate Requests for Proposals, assess vendors, negotiate contracts, and program manage implementation of new services
- Evaluate client telecomm infrastructures and recommend sourcing approaches
- Evaluate client supply chain processes and systems to generate improvement recommendations
- Perform project portfolio management and IT governance assessments
- Assist the program management of critical IT transformation initiatives
- Develop operational and technical implementation plans
- Contribute to the development of proposals for new projects
- Lead, coach and develop junior staff
We are also searching for Senior Associates with demonstrated leadership, either as a management consultant or as a corporate executive, in one or more of the disciplines highlighted above. Senior Associates typically have at least 7-10 years of experience and perform all of the functions of Associates. Senior Associates must also possess the requisite attributes/qualifications to perform the following:
- Establish marketplace eminence, with an ability to leverage experience into sustainable business generating relationships
- Build relationships with senior client management, and establish oneself as a trusted advisor on critical issues/decisions
- Manage projects on an end-to-end basis with minimal to no supervision
- Write articles and/or speak at conferences to build personal and company brand in our chosen service lines
- Lead internal firm initiatives (both market-facing and internal practice operations), and provide significant input relating to business operations strategies
- Mentor and counsel junior staff
