 Jonathan, Senior Associate
Jonathan has over 10 years experience in network and technology strategy and vendor management, focused on the wireless and wireline telecommunications industries. Recent project experience includes system procurements centered on infrastructure, layer 2 and IP networking, radio access networks, and provisioning / mediation applications. He has a strong overall background in cellular provider operations including spectrum acquisition and licensing, site management, radio access networks, backhaul and core networks, and operational and business support systems. Prior to joining Pace Harmon, Jonathan worked for Deloitte Consulting, Westdeutsche Landesbank, and the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense. He holds a Ph.D. in Microwave Spectroscopy from Durham University in the United Kingdom.

The Kind of Work I Do
"At Pace Harmon, we work for both business and technology stakeholders. This means that the problems we are asked to solve are diverse - from developing business processes, to drafting contract exhibits, to evaluating the applicability of new technology solutions. A recent project required me to perform an assessment of a vendor's SS7 STP market share and estimate the likelihood of their continued support of the North American market place. The prior project required our team to develop a strategy and process for a nationwide relocation of Electronic News Gathering licensees from one spectrum allocation to another. The project before that had us providing telephone support to a client in South Africa as they negotiated a contract for a large-scale MPLS network. Our clients hire us to help them with difficult and interesting problems - and I enjoy the fact that the problems tend to range so widely."
