Why I Joined Pace Harmon

"After working for large organizations such as the U.S. Navy and IBM, for over 13 years, I wanted to join a smaller elite group of individuals who were solving strategic issues to create immediate impact. I wanted to learn and gain more insight into industry leading strategies on how commercial clients are optimizing their IT and business processes. Since organizations are increasing their demand and reliance on Information Technology and are in constant pursuit of business optimization, I wanted to be part of the group who were operating at the leading edge of these initiatives. I felt, Pace Harmon’s client work had a good balance between technical and strategic which would keep me growing professionally."

What I Like about Pace Harmon

“Pace Harmon practitioners have a significant amount of autonomy and experience less organizational bureaucracy. Pace Harmon’s size allows practitioners to work side by side with the firms’ leadership, so there is direct communication and education from the top. The problem sets Pace Harmon takes on are complex and strategic which keeps work engaging, challenging, and rewarding. Lastly, Pace Harmon’s hardworking and intelligent practitioners also create a great environment to grow professionally."

The Kind of Work I Do

“My experience at Pace Harmon has been focused on program and change management. I’ve assisted in an IT transformation project to divest an IT organization and its operations to a 3rd party. I’ve helped consolidate network management vendors for a global beverage company after a merger. I’ve led the program management functions for a merger and acquisition project in support of supply chain operations. I worked with both the target firm and the acquirer’s supply chain leadership to develop and managed 150+ project across multiple consulting firms to capture $1B in synergy savings. I facilitated and oversaw 40+ Request for Proposals/Quotes (RFP/RFQs) for Indirect, Labor, and Technology 3rd party category spend of ~$5B.”
