H-1B bill advances in House -- as does anxiety about it

David Rutchik, executive managing director, commented on the impact of proposed H-1B legislation aimed at closing a loophole that some believe makes it inexpensive to replace U.S. workers with visa holders. Rutchik said that should the bill be passed it could have the opposite intended effect, and while it may have created more U.S.-based hiring, “mostly it [would] drive more remote support from offshore locations.”
