Gordon Wong is a Pace Harmon director with more than 10 years of consulting experience, specializing in sourcing strategies and technology transformations. He has focused on developing sourcing strategies for both infrastructure and application development/maintenance projects as well as software package assessments. He has extensive experience in all phases of the procurement process, which include strategy development, software / supplier selection, negotiations, transition management, and steady state optimization.
Recently, Gordon led several clients through large global IT transformations, which include both outsourcing and insourcing initiatives. His breadth of experience expands beyond IT services as he has led supporting work streams including organizational design, enterprise communications, and financial impact analysis. He has played an instrumental role in executing projects and outsourcing contracts estimated at $500M+ in value.
Prior to joining Pace Harmon, Gordon was a consulting manager at a “big four” consulting firm as part of its Outsourcing Advisory Services practice. Gordon holds an MBA degree from Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on Strategy, Finance, and IT. Additionally, he holds Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering.
