PRIVACY

At Pace Harmon, we take seriously the issue of safeguarding your privacy on-line.  Accordingly, these Terms of Use also describe our information gathering, usage, and disclosure practices for this Site.

The information you may provide and that we collect when you visit our Site falls into two broad categories: Aggregate Information and Personally Identifiable Information. “Aggregate Information” is information that does not identify you, and may include, for example, statistical information concerning the pages on the Site that users most frequent.  “Personally Identifiable Information” is information that can be used to identify or contact you, such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number or mailing address.

Information We Collect

We may collect Aggregate Information regarding your use of our Site through cookies and similar Internet technologies.   “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a web site transfers to your hard drive, where it is stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive for record-keeping purposes (such as storing user preferences).  We do not use cookies to collect any Personally Identifiable Information.  We may use cookies to show how and when visitors use our Site in order to improve our site.  The "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive new cookies and how to disable cookies altogether.  Please be advised that web sites not operated by us that you link to from our Site may use cookies differently than we do.  You should read and understand the privacy policy of the web site(s) that you link to in order to determine whether and how a particular site uses cookie.

We collect Personally Identifiable Information when you submit questions or comments to us, request information or materials about us , or seek employment opportunities with Pace Harmon.

Please be aware that this Site is not directed at children 13 years of age or younger. Pace Harmon, therefore, will not intentionally collect information about any user under the age of 13.

How We Use the Information that We Collect

We use Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to us when you visit our Site strictly for the purposes for which you have provided it, unless you request or permit otherwise.  For example, if you request to receive information about us and our activities, and you provide us with contact information (which may include Personally Identifiable Information, such as an e-mail address, mailing address, or phone number), we will use that information to contact you regarding your request or to send you the information.  If, at any time, you decide you no longer wish to receive such information, simply please notify us to that effect (for contact information, see the section below entitled “How To Contact Us”).

We use the Aggregate Information that we collect for system administration, to measure the number of visitors to our Site, to improve web site performance, and to help us improve our Site.

Our Disclosure Practices

We disclose your Personally Identifiable Information only to authorized Pace Harmon personnel, with those personnel required to treat this information as confidential, and to other third parties whose role is to maintain or operate our Site, fulfill the requests you make at our Site, or who may be engaged by us specifically to handle and deliver certain online activities.  These third parties have access to Personally Identifiable Information only to carry out their specific support obligations, cannot use it for other purposes, and must agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information.

An exception to our disclosure policy exists if we merge with another entity or if all or substantially all of our assets are transferred or sold to another entity.  In that case, all information submitted to us may be transferred to the merged or acquiring entity.  We will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Additionally, we may disclose Personally Identifiable Information when we believe it is appropriate in connection with legal proceedings, or to comply with law or requests by law enforcement agencies, to enforce our policies or to protect the rights, property or safety of users of our Site and others.

Security Of The Information You Provide To Us

We have taken steps to put in place security procedures so that Personally Identifiable Information collected through the Site are protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, including limiting the number of people who have physical access to our database servers as well as using electronic security systems and password protections which guard against unauthorized access.  DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE INTERNET AND DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGIES, WE CANNOT, HOWEVER, PROVIDE ASSURANCES AS TO THE SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION, AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL SUCH OBLIGATIONS.  Please note that because e-mail that you send over the Internet is not secure or private, you should not include confidential information in any e-mail that you send us.

Correcting Information; Opting Out
